First steps
Your clinic has its own address, such as your-clinic.dentify3d.com. Sign in there with the email address and password you received; the panel opens on the dashboard.
The checklist
A new clinic sees a short checklist at the top of the dashboard. Each item completes by itself as soon as the thing exists — there is nothing to tick off by hand:
- Add your first patient
- Upload the steps of a treatment
- Share a treatment with a patient
Below those, two account steps follow: your clinic's contact information and choosing a plan. Dismiss the checklist whenever you like; it does not come back.
Your first shared treatment
- Patients → New patient. A name is enough to start; the file number, date of birth and notes are optional. See Patients.
- On the patient's page, Treatments → New treatment, for example Aligner plan. You land on the treatment page.
- Upload steps and choose the folder of jaw models your planning software exported. Step 0 is the scan before treatment. See Uploading steps.
- Preview shows the treatment exactly as your patient will see it — check it before you share.
- Share links → Create share link, copy the link and send it to your patient, for example by WhatsApp or email. See Share links.
The dashboard
After the first days the dashboard becomes your overview:
- Active patients, active treatments, steps and patient views — the size of your practice on Dentify3D and how often patients open their treatments.
- Recent uploads — the last steps that received a model, each opening its treatment.
- Most viewed treatments — which treatments patients actually look at, and when they last did.
A dentist sees the numbers of their own patients; managers, assistants and administrators see the whole clinic.
