Treatments

A treatment is one aligner plan: an ordered series of steps, each with the upper and lower jaw models. It is what you share with the patient.

Creating a treatment

On the patient's page, Treatments → New treatment:

• Title — shown to the patient, for example Aligner plan or Refinement.
• Status — Draft while you prepare it, Active during treatment, Completed afterwards.
• Aligners — the number of aligners in the plan, if you know it.
• Notes — internal, never shown to the patient.

Saving takes you to the treatment page, where the steps and share links live. Its heading reads Patients › patient › treatment, so you always know whose plan you are looking at.

Refinements

When a refinement plan follows the first one, add it as a new treatment on the same patient. Each plan keeps its own steps and its own links, and the patient sees each one separately.

Preview

Preview at the top of the treatment page — also available in each row of the patient's treatments — opens the treatment in a new tab exactly as your patient will see it: your clinic's name, the steps and the 3D viewer. A yellow banner reminds you that it is a preview. Nothing is shared and no view is counted.

Use it to check the order of the steps and the models before you send a link.
