Share links
A share link is how a patient — or a colleague — opens a treatment. It is one private address on your clinic's domain, optionally protected by a passcode, with an expiry date you choose.
Creating a link
On the treatment page, Share links → Create share link:
- Label — who the link is for, for example Patient or Dr. Kaya (referral). Only your team sees it.
- Passcode — optional. The visitor must enter it before seeing anything. Tell it to the patient separately — in person or by phone — rather than in the same message as the link. It is not shown again after you save.
- Expires — proposed 90 days ahead. Choose another date, or leave it empty for a link that works until you revoke it.
The new link appears in the table; click it to copy it, then send it however you usually talk to your patients — WhatsApp, SMS or email.
You can create several links for the same treatment, for example one for the patient and one for a referring colleague, and revoke each separately.
Managing links
Sharing → Share links lists every link of your clinic (a dentist sees the links of their own patients):
- Status — Active, Expired or Revoked.
- Views — how many times the treatment was opened, and when it was last opened. A patient who keeps the page open counts once.
- Open — opens the page in a new tab.
- Change expiry — extends or shortens a link.
- Revoke — ends the link immediately and for good. The page tells visitors that the clinic withdrew the link.
Expired and revoked links are cleaned up automatically after some time.
Good to know
- Links are not listed by search engines and cannot be guessed.
- A wrong passcode entered too many times locks the page for a few minutes.
- Only administrators, managers and dentists can create and revoke links; assistants prepare treatments but do not share them.
