What your patient sees
The link opens a page with your clinic's name and logo at the top (Clinic branding), the treatment's title, the patient's name and the 3D viewer. It works in any current browser, on a phone, tablet or computer; there is nothing to install and no account to create.
The treatment animation
The first step appears as soon as it has downloaded; the others follow in the background, and the step strip marks each one as it becomes ready.
- Play runs through the steps; speed (0.5×, 1×, 2×) and loop change how.
- The arrows move one step back or forward; the outer buttons jump to the first step (before) and the last step (after) — the quickest before-and-after comparison.
- Any step can be chosen directly on the strip below the viewer.
- When one jaw finished earlier, a note says so and the jaw's last model stays visible.
Looking around
- Drag to rotate, scroll or pinch to zoom, right-drag or two-finger drag to move the model.
- Settings offers six fixed views — front, back, left, right, top, bottom — and Reset view.
- In the same panel the patient can hide one jaw, make the models transparent, adjust the lighting and edge enhancement, cut through the model with a section plane, and change the background. Back to default settings undoes it all.
- Full screen and a short help page are at the top right.
On a phone the settings open as a sheet from the bottom of the screen, and the controls are sized for fingers.
Language
The page follows your clinic's Default site language (Clinic settings).
When a link no longer works
An expired or revoked link shows a short message that asks the patient to contact the clinic for a new one. Nothing about the treatment is shown.
